If we are going to step into this process together, it helps immensely if we share some common ground on how we view the midlife transition, what is important, and how we approach healing.

So let’s talk a little about you…

Close-up of a smiling woman with curly red-brown hair, wearing makeup, earrings, and a dark top, outdoors with green leaves and sunlight in the background.

Does this sound familiar?

For a long time, you have been navigating the world with an incredibly perceptive mind and body.

You are a woman who thinks deeply, feels intensely, and cares with every fibre of your being.

You don’t just observe life; you absorb it. You feel the shifts in a room the moment you walk in. You experience beauty intensely, you think deeply, and your nervous system has always been a beautifully porous, receptive instrument.

But as you cross the threshold into midlife and beyond, you might find that the world has suddenly become overwhelmingly loud.

Instead of entering an era of steady wisdom and deep peace, you might feel like your nervous system has become a completely raw, frayed wire – like the volume control on your inner world and the outer world has been turned up to an unbearable maximum.

You might be asking yourself:

"What is wrong with me?

Am I losing my mind?!

I am too sensitive for this world right now.

Where did my resilience go?

Am I destined to spend the rest of my life feeling exhausted and invisible?"

Take a deep breath…

You are not broken, and you do not need fixing.

As a practitioner, and midlife woman myself, my perspective on this felt-sense of anxiety, overwhelm and disorientation is entirely different from the stories your inner critic may be telling you.

What is going on beneath the surface:

  • A natural biological shift:
In your younger years, your body had natural buffers against stress. As midlife brings a hormonal transition, those built-in buffers lower. Your porous nervous system isn't failing; it is simply overwhelmed.

  • The primitive mind survival script:
Because your physical buffer is low, your Primitive Brain (specifically the amygdala) gets tricked into thinking the sensory input of daily life is an emergency. It fills your "stress bucket" to the brim and sounds a physical alarm, which triggers those 3am adrenaline spikes. You cannot just think your way out of this, because the alarm is sounding in your body, not your intellect.

  • An existential threshold:
Beneath the physical challenges, you are navigating a profound change. You are shedding an old identity likely built around living for everyone else. Your soul is craving a deeper purpose and an awakening to a life more alive - but you cannot hear your own inner wisdom while your body is locked in emergency survival mode.

You don’t need to harden yourself to cope with life.

You just need a safe space to quiet the noise so your mind and nervous system can reset and you can hear the guidance your inner wisdom is trying to give you.

What you’re looking for

If you see yourself in one or more of these descriptions, we will likely work beautifully together:

You are in your 40s or early 50s and…

  • You are navigating the turbulent waves of the peri/menopause transition

  • Perhaps you find yourself trapped in loops of late-night rumination and procrastination and/or you’re struggling with hot flushes and night sweats.

  • You look in the mirror and don't quite feel like yourself anymore.

  • You want to untangle the mental static, drop the crushing weight of perfectionism, and reclaim your peace.

You are in your 50s or 60s and…

  • You are on the other side of menopause, but you are left navigating a profound and disorienting identity shift.

  • With changes in your life landscape — empty nests, aging, or career transitions — you find yourself questioning who you are outside of your roles.

  • You are tired of merely going through the motions; you’re ready to find out who you want to be in this next chapter.

You are ready to look forward

Even though you’re struggling you don't want a clinical space to dissect why you feel stuck — you want to know how to feel more alive.

You want to move forward.

Our sessions are a collaborative sanctuary, not a chore on your to-do list.

There is no pressure to get this "perfect."

You bring a genuine readiness to explore small, comforting shifts, and I help your brain and nervous system secure them.

And is this the right time for you?

This process is deep, collaborative, and rewarding.

We will work beautifully together if you are:

  • Ready to welcome the inner work of personal growth, nervous system calm, and stepping into your true self.

  • Actively navigating your midlife journey, valuing inner freedom and understanding that true self-acceptance takes patience, time, and gentle practice over quick fixes.

  • Willing and able to carve out the time to engage with our sessions and the practices we share.

However, I am NOT the guide for you if:

  • You are seeking medical help with your symptoms, are looking for a perimenopause diagnosis, or are looking for advice on nutrition or HRT.

    • I am not qualified to give medical advice, diagnose, or advise about HRT or nutrition.

  • You are looking for a space to process childhood trauma or analyse your past.

    • You may wish to explore approaches such as trauma therapy or EMDR or work with an analytical counsellor/therapist instead. I am qualified to offer solution-focused psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.

We will likely work beautifully together if…

  • You treat your emotions as messengers: You know there is no quick-fix to 'purge' difficult feelings or bypass blocks with toxic positivity. You understand that real inner peace comes from welcoming and listening to all parts of yourself.

  • You value both neuroscience and soul: You are fascinated by the depths of the psyche, but you also appreciate the practical science of change. You love that we can honour the mystery of the soul while using evidence-based brain science to calm a frantic mind.

  • You view your sensitivity as a strength: You experience the world intensely and absorb things deeply. You don't want to be 'cured' of this sensitivity; you just want to learn how to regulate your nervous system so you can navigate life without feeling constantly raw or overwhelmed.

  • You are curious about the inner world: You hold a natural fascination for the depths of the psyche and the journey of the soul.

  • You question the rush of modern life: You are critical of a life-denying system obsessed with constant hustle, exhaustion, and perpetual growth. You want to step out of that frantic script.

  • You are ready to unburden your mind: You consider yourself a feminist and are ready to gently dismantle patriarchal expectations — like perfectionism and chronic people-pleasing —right out of your own head and life.

We may share some Common Ground

If we are a good fit, our worldviews may overlap.

We don’t need to agree on everything! But here are the core pillars of how I see the world, the body, and the times we are living in.

Maybe some of this resonates with you?

On Menopause

The medicalized language of 'hormone deficiency' makes you shudder.

Our bodies are not faulty, and you are not broken.

This is a natural, profound process — even if it may feel incredibly challenging.

On the State of the World & Politics

  • You see how systemic injustice is intertwined. You recognize that capitalism, patriarchy, misogyny, racism, ableism, and environmental destruction all stem from the same harmful roots.

  • You vote for real care and social justice. You see straight through populist politics and whitewashed national pride. You naturally lean away from right-wing or ultra-conservative ideologies that protect narrow, privileged sections of society.

  • You can sit with complex tensions. You know there are no easy answers when balancing the rights of the individual with the collective good, and you value political representatives who speak truth over rhetoric.

On Spirituality

  • You are done with gurus and patriarchal doctrines of shame. You aren't looking for a self-appointed expert to tell you how to think.

  • Your spirituality is quite earthly. You don't want to transcend this body; you sense the living soul in a flower, a river, and the full moon. You pray with one hand on your heart and one on your belly — ideally beneath a tree.

  • You feel we need to bring back the Divine Feminine. While you may look forward to moving past a gendered view of the divine, you know in your bones we must first rebalance millennia of 'God-the-Father.'

On Health & Wellbeing

  • You know body, mind, and soul are completely connected. You value eating well, moving, and caring for your mind, but you are deeply aware that the freedom to make 'healthy choices' is a socio-economic privilege.

  • You see that our culture is fundamentally toxic to our health. Millions are spent selling us harmful food and marketing messages designed to make us feel bad about ourselves. True systemic change will take far more than individual 'consumer responsibility.'

The books on your shelf might include:

The state of the world now • Patriarchy & feminism • Lunar energy & emotions • Flowers and trees • High sensitivity & neurodivergence • Peri/menopause • Nature spirituality • The sacred feminine • Archetypes • Healing & trauma awareness • Nervous system regulation • The mother wound • Ethical business • Nuanced critiques of the wellness industry.

You may feel like you’ve come home when you work with me…

If you are yearning to:

  • Feel more at peace with yourself — confident, settled, and comfortable in your own skin.

  • Create conscious space to process your thoughts and tune into what you truly want and need.

  • Rediscover your sense of self amidst the identity shifts of midlife and the daily demands on your energy.

  • Reclaim sovereignty over your mind and emotions, gently stepping away from worrying about what others think.

  • Trust the quiet voice within you, turning those soulful inner whispers into confident action.

  • Answer your soul's call for deep self-intimacy, living a life that matches your true values.

I imagine you are ready to:

  • Release the constant struggle of feeling stuck, frazzled, and caught in survival mode.

  • Carve out regular, non-negotiable windows in your life for deep rest and reflection.

  • Learn practical, somatic tools to ground your body, quiet your mind, and activate your inner wisdom.

  • Know you are completely understood in experiencing life and midlife so intensely.

  • Awaken to your true potential, pursuing your path in life with steady, quiet joy.

…So you can reconnect with your soul and live your life as the confident, wise, and radiant woman you are meant to be.

Thank you for reading

I share this because I value your time and my own.

If our views on these foundational issues fundamentally differ, we are unlikely to find the deep, harmonious alignment required for this gently powerful restorative work.

If, however, you read these words and feel a sense of safety and relief (or even curiosity) — I would love to welcome you into my practice.
