There’s a practice that I have created that I do daily. A way to find stillness and a calm and centred sense of inner peace, and connection to my heart and soul. It’s called Centring in Soul Space.

I’ve been meditating for many years and have tended to flit around between practices. But I’ve now settled on this one as a beautiful way to start my day.

And I’d love to share it with you.

But first…

What do I mean by “Soul Space”?

For me, “Soul Space” is incredibly precious. It’s a very different state of consciousness from the every day – where we can all too often get stuck in our heads with to-do lists and worries and overwhelm.

Instead, Soul Space feels like coming home.  It’s a space of inner stillness; expansiveness; and freedom. It’s a space of great tenderness and joy.

In this space I can tune into the wise whispers of my heart and soul where answers and guidance bubble from within like healing waters from a sacred well – the wellspring of wisdom and love which resides in my heart.

If, like me, you’re a highly sensitive person – this is a space which will feel very precious to you because it allows you to step away from the demands and distractions and overwhelm of every day life so you can tune into your intuition and soul’s longings.

How to connect to Soul Space?

My practise takes three steps:

1) Ground your body and your energy by focusing on the strength, stillness and nurturing of the earth beneath you

2) Take your awareness up into the spaciousness of the sky above you and even extend it out beyond into the limitless freedom of the cosmos

3) Breathe and bring both those energies into your heart and sit in stillness and ask for inner guidance.
